The exhibition, part of the project “Railway Heritage for Engaging the Young Generation,” was supported by the Visegrad Fund, the European Commission, and the Council of Europe. It took place at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, specifically in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism, on November 18, 2024, as part of the European Heritage Days.
This academic venue was ideal for reaching both students and faculty. The event highlighted research, digital heritage (including a virtual route), and youth engagement while linking academic inquiry with practical interpretations of heritage. A dynamic discussion took place with 4th-year architecture students, many of whom had been studying railway heritage as part of the course “Architectural Heritage, Restoration, and Protection.” The discussion was moderated by Jovan Bajic, a former student of the same department.
The exhibition will remain open until November 30, 2024.
