After the premiere in Novi Sad, the travelling exhibition RAIL4V4+V arrived on October 16, 2024, at Kikinda Railway Station. The exhibition was realized within the project Railway Heritage for Engaging the Young Generation, supported by the Visegrad Fund, the European Commission and the Council of Europe, and is shown as part of the European Heritage Day, the most celebrated participatory cultural event throughout Europe.
The exhibition shows the railway heritage of the Visegrad countries and Vojvodina. Scanning a QR code on posters depicting 50 railway sites will embark visitors on a virtual train journey through the region. In addition, they will have the opportunity to see the same locations through the lens of young people, participants in the international photo contest, realized within the mentioned project.
The exhibition will be open until October 23, every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., after which it will continue its journey through the Banat towards Hungary.
